Executive Retirement Plans

Defined Benefit Services
Design Review As the needs of participants and employer change, it is beneficial to review plan provisions and design to maintain maximum employee benefit for minimum employer cost. We can review the plan and make recommendations for moderate changes to help reduce the Company's expenses.
Actuarial Review We can prepare a Request for Proposal (RFP) and send it to several actuarial firms of your choice. We will matrix the responses and present our findings to you. This can result in cost savings, even if the plan sponsor does not change actuarial firms.
Asset Allocation/Liability Study We can prepare financial models to project future liabilities and sample asset mixes that may achieve the goals of the plan. A well thought out asset allocation could make a difference in the amount the plan sponsor needs to contribute to the plan.
Benefits Adequacy When plans are not reviewed regularly, the adequacy of the actual benefit at retirement may not be appropriate for supplementing retirement income. This study takes into account social security, any pension plans, profit sharing plans, 401(k) plans and compares them to estimated final pay.
Communications Employee communication is key in making the benefit meaningful to the participant. We recommend that the results of our surveys and focus group be part of a multi-tiered communication campaign to educate employees. We will design a specific program geared to your participants' needs.
